Senior engineering judgment, without the overhead of a large consultancy.

Dawnity exists to make experienced structural and systems engineering available for a specific problem — a qualification campaign that needs de-risking, a model nobody quite trusts, a technical decision that needs a second senior opinion — without requiring a permanent hire or a large consulting engagement.

Maximilian Grasberger

Maximilian founded Dawnity after eight years across Airbus Defence & Space, Beyond Gravity and Carl Zeiss SMT — spanning structural qualification of ESA spacecraft hardware, including the Sentinel-6A satellite and the Sentinel-1C/D SAR antenna, through to technical ownership of a subsystem in the ASML High-NA EUV ecosystem.

That work included technical leadership of a multidisciplinary engineering organisation of roughly 25 people, on a subsystem carrying €25–50M of annual revenue. Dawnity applies the same standard of rigour to individual engagements, at a scale that fits the problem.

Full track record

Precision over presentation

Conclusions are stated in terms of margins, correlation and evidence — not confidence language borrowed from outside the engineering.

Independence by design

Dawnity is contractually independent and integrates with existing teams rather than replacing them, which keeps the technical judgment unconflicted.

Scoped to the problem

Engagements are sized to a specific technical question, so senior judgment is available without the commitment of a full-time role.

Three countries. Three native languages.

Maximilian has lived and worked in three countries and is a native speaker of English, German and Portuguese.

In practice that removes a category of friction most engagements never account for: reviews run in whichever language the room prefers, documentation lands in the register the customer expects, and settling into an unfamiliar engineering culture is routine rather than an adjustment period billed to the project.
