Eight years on hardware with no tolerance for surprises.
Dawnity is a new company. Its judgment is not. Below is the professional background of founder Maximilian Grasberger, prior to founding the practice — the experience it is built on.

Carl Zeiss SMT
Lead System Engineer / Object Architect
Technical ownership of a major subsystem within the ASML High-NA EUV ecosystem — acting as the technical counterpart to project management and guiding engineering activity across roughly 25 engineers.
Led cross-functional technical decision-making and system architecture through the transition from development into serial production, on a subsystem carrying €25–50M of annual revenue, and delivered a 30% cost reduction within one year through engineering optimisation.
Beyond Gravity
Structural Analysis Lead / Analysis Responsible
Analysis responsible for the AU5k lithography programme, leading structural analysis activities and engineering resource planning, with advanced FE analyses, correlation and qualification testing.
Developed Python tooling to automate engineering workflows, and supported the establishment of Beyond Gravity's Lisbon engineering office and its technical recruitment.
Airbus Defence & Space
Structural Analysis Engineer
Structural qualification of Sentinel-6A and Sentinel-1C/D spacecraft hardware, plus structural analysis of the PLATO FEU and the SCOUT main instruments — performed to ECSS standards, with test prediction, procedures and test monitoring supporting qualification campaigns and customer reviews with ESA and prime contractors.
Two of those campaigns ran at IABG in Munich: the Sentinel-6A satellite qualified as a complete spacecraft, and the Sentinel-1C/D main SAR antenna qualified as a standalone instrument — the same discipline applied at two very different scales.
RWTH Aachen University
Student Research Assistant
Research in structural mechanics and lightweight design, alongside the M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering.
